Google Kills Twitter Today…

That’s right, Google launched their “Google Buzz” today and killed Twitter.  They ruthlessly attacked twitter weaknesses and set the scene for further “creeping infiltration” into Microsoft’s stronghold in the enterprise market.  This will be a big deal.

Google’s Buzz is a rival to twitter and it shows up as a “tab” inside your Gmail.  It will allow users to follow/be followed by people inside their email contact database.

Google has put alot of work into this and essentially built it from the ground up to work tightly with Gmail.  it’s also mobile ready and “location aware.”  You got to know that Buzz updates will be indexed by google VERY fast, so if SEO is on your mind – better plug in.  Also with us Social Media hounds Google Buzz will be an addition to everyone’s social media blueprint.
